Knowledge Reef Systems is an early-stage startup founded in October 2007 using social computing software technology licensed from Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico. We will be in stealth mode for several more months as we develop and refine the beta release(s) of our kReef&trade resource networking service. An innovative service that connects all types of items—people, events, places, books, articles, Web sites, et al—in a seamless “resource network”, the kReef is a platform for tools that help members organize, discover and recommend information to other members based on the connections between these resources. The kReef will uniquely integrate social networking, chat, blogging, tagging and search into a powerful information management experience for knowledge workers.
